Plastic construction parts and ready-to-install parts made of PTFE
Extensive machinery for perfect further processing of PTFE
Beichler +Grünenwald meets the needs of its customers in the best possible quality and precision with state-of-the-art machinery. The wide variety of machines enables us to process semi-finished products manufactured in-house as well as raw materials purchased from customers, such as round rods, hollow rods, special profiles, blanks, sheets, foils, linings, bellows, covers, as per the requirements of the customer. Beichler + Grünenwald has several processing centres for turning and milling. Equipped with the latest CNC controls and flexible multi-axis technology, even the most complex components can be produced quickly and cost-effectively. The latest inspection and measuring machines perform central functions in quality assurance.
Beichler + Grünenwald's own automatic turning facility enables it to produce a wide range of different components. Machined parts from 2 mm to 1200 mm Ø and milled parts from 10 to 1600 mm Ø can be easily produced. Furthermore, slim profiles of up to 20 metres in length can be milled.
Further production facilities enable the finishing of surfaces by polishing, vibratory grinding and plastic coating. These prevent the adhesion of undesirable substances or protect the components from chemical damage. In this area, parts provided by the customer are very often refined.
In static pressing, PTFE granulate is compressed into press moulds under hydraulic pressure to form simple moulded parts. These blanks are sintered in the furnace with precisely defined sintering curves. The blanks are also sintered in the same way during isostatic pressing. Beforehand, however, the PTFE granulate is placed in custom-cut tools – very close to the finished part contour - and pressurised on all sides. This is the most efficient way to process PTFE for finished parts with dimensions that vary greatly.
